Our pruning and pruning services are the most popular. It is good to know that there is a difference between pruning and pruning a tree. Although in both cases the operation consists of removing sections of the tree, the goal and the way of doing it is not the same.
What is the difference between pruning and pruning a tree? When pruning a tree, we are concerned about the health of the tree. You establish a plan to promote its growth and remove as few branches as possible. Although we take human needs into account when doing this type of work, we evaluate the impact our actions will have on the tree's health.
Pruning work, on the other hand, has as its primary objective to solve a problem and achieve a specific goal. This type of work is carried out with a view to satisfying the needs of human beings regardless of the health of the tree. In other words, the needs of the human being are put forward at the expense of those of the tree. For example, think of the Hydro-Québec crews who cut the tops of trees and all branches that are at a certain distance from electrical wires to secure the network. Their objective is to protect the electrical infrastructure without worrying about the health of the tree.
Tree trimming
Pruning consists of cutting the top of the tree and removing the side branches. Pruning causes great stress to the tree and slows down its growth. In some cases, the tree may die as a result of pruning and must be felled. Often, pruning work is done for safety reasons. When the branches or the top of the tree come into contact with a building or other infrastructure, pruning work must be done to prevent damage to the branches or the top of the tree.
Pruning is carried out when : -You wish to cut the top of the tree because it is in conflict with infrastructure. -You want to remove all the branches at the base of the tree in order to create a resting area. -We want to cut the tops of several trees to have a better view of the lake or the mountain.
Tree pruning
When you do pruning work, you have a long-term vision. We care about the appearance of the tree and its health. When our staff does pruning work, they always try to remove as few branches as possible. Sick or dead sections of the tree are removed. Broken or weakened branches will also be cut down. If there are any branches that conflict with each other, the problematic ones will also be cut down. When one has a long-term vision and intervenes preventively, pruning work can be avoided.
Pruning is done when : -We wish to improve the appearance of the tree... -Dead or damaged sections of the shaft are to be removed. -One wishes to orientate the branches in a certain direction -We want the tree to create less shade around the pool.
